The process for getting your chapter on-line is very simple…
- Register your details with us
- Upload your first chapter along with a short brief, your mini-biog and synopsis of your novel (see our FAQ section for tips on writing this)
- Await feedback from our panel (within 7 working days) on whether your submission has been successful
- If we accept your chapter, congratulations: it will appear automatically on-line
OR
If we decline your submission our panel will provide a critique with advice on how to develop your work
Your chapter will be visible to all visitors to the site, but only registered agents and publishers (whom we carefully vet) will have access to your contact details.
What’s more, we actively promote OnlyOneChapter, including our latest authors, throughout the publishing world.
The service costs just £48 per submission and includes hosting your chapter for 12 months on the site. You retain full copyright and there are no additional charges whatsoever.

Publishers/Literary Agents
You can view our authors’ work on-line straightaway, but to access their contact details we ask you to complete the registration process.
We don’t charge publishers for our services and once registered you’ll enjoy all of the following:-
- Access to undiscovered, “unsigned” writers whose work has been pre-selected by our panel of experts
- A corresponding reduction in your “slush pile”
- Free email alerts when writers are added that match your criteria
- An assurance of quality for every chapter you read on our site
- The benefits of our marketing campaigns in attracting new authors.
OnlyOneChapter has no rights over the works or authors on the site and you are free to negotiate with them direct.
